Haitian Spaghetti
8 oz of thin spaghetti (half a box)
3 hot dogs
3 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons tomato sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp adobo
½ tablespoon of chicken bouillon powder
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Once water is at a rolling boil add spaghetti and cook for about 8 minutes. Once cooked, drain your spaghetti in a colander and rinse with cold water and set aside.
Slice hot dogs into ¼ inch slices.
Heat 2 Tablespoons of olive oil in a large frying pan on medium heat. When oil is hot add in hot dog slices. Saute for 5 minutes. Add 2 Tablespoons of tomato sauce and saute for an additional 2 minutes. Reduce heat to a simmer and add in your cooked spaghetti, all of your spices and another tablespoon of olive oil. Stir until spaghetti, spices, olive oil and tomato sauce are well combined.
